Passed away peacefully on 6 September 2026, in his 85th year.
Eldest son of the late Henry and Kathleen Diedrichs, cherished brother and brother-in-law of Russell and Trina, Bill and Lyndel, and Joy and Pierre, much-loved uncle to Libby, Lauren, Candice, Lane, Chantal, Alex, and Julien, and good friend of Ben. Warren’s great love was his farm, The Station, where he spent much of his life with his faithful dog Shilo by his side. The farm was his home, his passion and a place he truly loved. A very special thank you to the wonderful staff at Allen Bryant Care Home for the exceptional care, kindness and compassion they showed him. Our sincere thanks also to the team at Grey Hospital for their care of Warren. Warren will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends. A memorial service for Warren will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 131 Kaniere Road, Hokitika, on Saturday, 12 September at 1.00pm.
