Peacefully on Wednesday April 12, 2023, after a courageous battle.  Dearly loved wife of Craig, mum of Ben and Cli, Cait and Danny, and Matt, and Cam.  Adored grandma of Lochlan, cherished daughter of Ann and the late Tom, sister of Paul and Janine, Rod and Janine, Graham and Kerri, aunt of all her nieces and nephews and a friend to many.  Messages to 388 Fox Glacier Highway, Franz Josef 7886, or may be left on Bex’s tribute page at www.thompsonfd.co.nz. In lieu of flowers donations to the South Westland Branch of St John would be appreciated and may be made at the service.  A service to celebrate Bex’s life will be held in the Franz Josef Community Centre, 6 Main Road, Franz Josef, on Monday April 17, commencing at 1.30pm.  Private Cremation to follow.  The Goodall and Sharp families would like to express thanks to the South Westland nurses, Greymouth oncology and palliative care for their ongoing care and support.

Cannot believe you have gone, but we knew you fought so hard and you are now in peace my gorgeous friend. We met you when we first moved to NZ and you became our gorgeous and stern nanny for Jade and Ben and from that we became lifelong friends. Heartbroken beyond words. Thinking of you Craig and family. Always here for you.

My darling friend Bex, words cannot describe the sadness we feel at your passing. We have such fond memories of our time together in London and all our amazing travels. You were the mum of the group, always there to organise something, or lend a hand. Such a selfless and kind human. You lit up a room with your enthusiasm and were always the first to be there if anyone needed you. You fought hard and remained strong. We are comforted by the many memories we have and you are forever in our hearts. Much love Zoe and Troy xxx

      Becs Journey’s Just Begun.

Don’t think of her as gone away
      Her journey’s just begun
Life holds so many facets –
      This earth is only one.
Just think of her as resting
From the sorrows and the tears
In a place of warmth and comfort
Where there are no days and years.
Think how she must be wishing
      That we could know today,
      How nothing but our sadness
      Can really pass away.
And think of her as living
In the hearts of those she touched
For nothing loved is ever lost.

And she. Was loved so much

      ♥️. ♥️. ♥️
