Norma Veale

Peacefully at home surrounded by her family, on Friday 10th March 2023, aged 82 years.  Daughter of the late Emily and William Jones, dearly loved wife of 57 years of Barry.  Much loved mum and mother in law of Michelle and Greg and Graham and Robyn.  Devoted and best grandma in the world of Mitchell, Indica and Amelia.  Loved sister of Vic and a loved aunty of Karen, Denise, Lyndal and Ann-Maree and a good friend to many, human and animals alike.  Flowers respectfully declined but donations to the Red Cross and the West Coast Branch of the Cancer Society, would be appreciated and may be made at the service.  Messages to the Veale Family, 95 Tudor Street, Hokitika 7810 or may be left on Norma’s tribute page at www.thompsonfd.co.nz.   Norma’s wish was for those attending her service, please wear bright colours.

A Funeral Mass for Norma will be celebrated at The Chapel of the Holy Spirit, Seaview Terrace, Hokitika, on Tuesday March 14, commencing at 1.30pm.  Following the service Norma will be Laid to Rest, in the Lawn Section of the Hokitika Cemetery.
