I can’t believe that I won’t get to see you again! There has been a couple of times that I felt the urge to ring you and say that I love you! Or even send you a photo or video of Ivaan! We spent a very short time visiting you last year and have good memories of us visiting and of the cheeky Ivaan. You are forever in mine and my families heart!

My dear sister, I will miss our chats , they could be hilarious at times .Numerous topics would be discussed , sometimes forgetting what we had been talking about we would then go onto something completly different, such as gardening, baking, , the good old times from years ago before we got old. It was like a game of I remember when.. Of course there had to be the ^ Old age aches & pains ^ comparison as well. I will always love & miss you Ngaire , Rest in peace, , now free from pain

Me especially.I will miss our calls and laughs and discussions on what is going on in Hoki, The Guardians she sent me regularly to keep up the local contact. Our early days were of 2 of us new to Hokitika and leaving our other friends. Ngaire used to come and leave grandad Neil with me and Grandad Charles Cowie. What fascinating conversations as Charles was deaf.We used to get a great laugh. She suffered for a long time with her health but that didn’t stop her. She still had that spark. She is now at peace having given us all a lot of love
and companionship. I am unable to be with you for the funeral as I am not well myself .Thank you for putting her farewell on line. My prayers are with you all Heather Cowie and all her family
