Sadly, passed away on Thursday August 24, 2023. A loved mokopuna of Waikato Tainui, he mihi aroha ki a Harry Mason, adorned mother, treasured toua, a very special nana nui, colleague and friend to many, she will be dearly missed. Messages can be left on Bunty’s tribute page at www.thompsonfd.co.nz. Bunty will be taken to Arahura Marae, Friday August 25, at 2pm, remaining until Sunday the 27th, when she will be returned back to Waingaro Pā, Waikato for burial. A service will be held at Arahura Marae for Bunty on Saturday, August 26, at 7pm, all are welcome. Takoto mai koe ki ka rikarika o tō tātou atua, māna koe e tiaki, māna tātou e manaaki. E moe e te kuru pounamu.
