Margery Eileen Humphris (nee Loach, Goodman).

On May 5, 2024, in her 95th year. Dearly loved wife of Roy, loved mother and mother-in-law of Terry and Pat, and Graeme, loved grandma of Teneille and Tony (England), Samantha and Liam (Lower Hutt), Bramwell (Christchurch), and Nathan and Tara (Hari Hari), great grandmother of Kassidy, Zoey, Stanley, Torin, Emmeline, and Jack, loved sister of the late Mary, Ivan, Daphne, Doreen, and Ngaire, daughter of the late Alice and Stanley Loach (Orari), sister-in-law of Reita and Tom Peebles (Timaru), Shona and John Sleep (Rolleston), Cynthia and the late Allan Humphris (Timaru), loved aunty of all her nieces and nephews and friend of many.     So sad to hear of Marge’s passing, condolences to Roy, Graeme, Terry and family. Marge was always so kind to everyone and cherished by many. I have many fond memories as a young feller coming to visit at the farm and many years later bringing my own children to visit. Collecting the eggs with Marge was one of Amelia & Liams favorites things to do.

    The Humphris family would like to thank everyone who responded here and sent flowers and cards to show their love and support. It means a lot to us that so many people took the time to share their special memories.

    Your support has been a great source of comfort to us. Marge’s ashes were scattered near the La Fontaine attended by a large crowd of curious cows and the immediate family. She is where she wanted to be.
