Kris, Brett and Sophie would like to sincerely thank everyone who supported us following Leanne’s passing. A heartfelt thank you to the staff at Te Nikau CCU, Auckland CVICU, and Christchurch ICU for the special care given to Leanne, and for the kindness shown to us over those six difficult weeks. To our Hokitika Fire Brigade family—words cannot express our gratitude. Your support makes us incredibly proud to be part of such an amazing team. To Hokitika New World—thank you for being so supportive and fantastic throughout. To Thompson and Westland Funeral Services, thank you for the kind and efficient way you handled all the arrangements. To those who attended Leanne’s funeral, from near and far, and to everyone who contributed to making it such an unforgettable send-off—thank you. Leanne would have been impressed. It was a true team effort. To the Hokitika community—it is in times like this that a small community truly shines. Thank you for the cards, messages, flowers (in most cases Jack Daniels), delicious meals and baking—often delivered with comforting hugs. We are so very grateful. We will all miss Leanne deeply.
