Passed away in her sleep, on Thursday, November 6, 2025, aged 40. Beloved cherished wife and team mate of Terry-Lee, beloved, treasured and loving mother of Emma, and Tyler, adored daughter of Rhod and Brenda (deceased) Crossman, treasured daughter-in-law of Chrissie and Alan Sweeny, and Terry Mahuika Snr, loved sister of Brian and Mel, and Karl, loved aunt of Oskar, Zack, Nate, Lucy, and Meia, loved niece, cousin and friend of many. “Gosh Kate, we’re going to miss you, but we’ll never forget you” Kate loved flowers and bright colours. A service to celebrate Kate’s life, will be held in All Saints Anglican Church, 57 Bealey Street, Hokitika, on Wednesday, November 12, at 2pm.
