James Bernard (Jim) Manera

On Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at Allen Bryant Ultimate Care, Hokitika, peacefully surrounded by his loving family, aged 100 years.  Dearly loved husband of the late Elsie, much loved father and father-in-law of Ray and Dianne (Ross), Kevin and Kay (Nelson), and Terry and Anne (Hokitika), loved grandad of David, and Jacqueline (deceased); Leanne, and Trudy; Braden, Brooke, and Todd, great grandad of Tayla, Bradley, Josh, Rahni, Samiah, James, Annie, and Chester, great great grandad of Amarni, Riva, and Koa, a loved brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend. A service to celebrate Jim’s life will be held in St Patrick’s Catholic Church, Ross, on Monday, August 10, at 1pm. Following the service, Jim will be laid to rest with Elsie, in the Ross Cemetery.
