Jade Straker

Our wonderful, amazing Jade, left us at 5.30am on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, in Christchurch Hospital, a few weeks short of his 49th birthday. Very much loved son of John, and Alison, and their partners Linda Hutt, and Graeme Cox, a loved brother and brother-in-law of Abbey and Jason, Abel and Erin, Jarrah and Paige and their families, also stepbrother of Rowen, Milo, Morgan, and Gareth Cox, special grandson of the late Jack and Colleen Straker, and Bill and Margaret Bedford, a loved nephew, uncle, cousin and friend. A private family cremation service for Jade has been held, and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
