Passed away at home in Hokitika on December 16, 2022, surrounded by loved ones, aged 61. Iona leaves behind her two daughters Abbi and Honey, as well as four grandchildren, Sophia, Freya, Jet, and Zayn. lona’s cheeky personality and quick wit will be dearly missed. Messages can be left on Iona’s tribute page at www.thompsonfd.co.nz. A celebration of her life will be held at the Hokitika Cemetery, Seaview Hill Road, Hokitika on Wednesday, December 21, at 2pm. Following the service, there will be a wake at lona’s home to allow friends and family to reflect on their time with her.
