Passed away peacefully at Allen Bryant Ultimate Care, Hokitika on January 14, 2026, aged 83.  Dearly loved daughter of the late John & Marjorie Cain, loved sister and sister-in-law of Mary (deceased) & Michael Austin, and Robert (deceased) & Olene Cain, beloved aunty of John, Carol, Christian, and the late Joanna, a much loved great aunty of Daniel, Keiran, Wylie, and Mason, a loved cousin, and friend of many.  Messages to 337 Kaniere Road, Hokitika 7811.  The family would like to acknowledge the staff at Allen Bryant for their loving care and wonderful support.  A Funeral Service to celebrate Evelyn’s life will be held in the William Sampson Memorial Chapel, Tainui St, Greymouth tomorrow (Tuesday) at 11am followed by burial in the Karoro Cemetery.
