Born in Christchurch January 23, 1932, passed away peacefully at Te Nikau Grey Hospital, Greymouth on July 9, 2023. Loved wife of the late Les Gilmore MNZM. A loved cousin and a loved aunt of her many Gilmore nieces and nephews. Many thanks to her support team, especially Stephen and Karen. A Service for Elaine will be held at St Andrews United Church, Fitzherbert Street, Hokitika, on Wednesday July 12, commencing at 1.00pm. Following the service Elaine will be laid to rest with her husband Les in the Returned Services Section No. 2 at the Hokitika Cemetery.

Oh im so sorry to read of Elaines passing. Les, Elaine and my Dad hung out together. We have done lots of RSA and Fire Brigade stuff together. A long time Ross girl. Such a lovely lady. she will be missed. My condolences to her remaining relatives.

A valued member of the Hokitika Women’s Section RSA, always attended a mtg when she could and first one to put her hand up to go on an outing. Rest in Peace Elaine you will be sadly missed by your sister members.
