Dear Danny. You were such a thoughtful and loving person, i enjoyed working in my shed next to your house and saying hello most mornings. You bought me treats and spoiled us all rotten. I will miss seeing you doing your rounds watching your fantail and picking up your fish n chips on a friday night. Rest in peace 🙏

My condolences to Danny’s family. He was an outstanding athlete , coach and official at the Greymouth Athletic Club for many years. I spent my last 4 years on the West Coast in Greymouth 1972 to 1975. I was lucky enough to be a member of that athletic clubs committee which was made up of wonderful Greymouth residents including Danny. Many athlete from the club can thank him for his outstanding coaching.
