Loved husband of Gloria, and the late Jean, loved father of Shayne, special friend and father of Terry, loved father-in-law of Lorraine, and Wendy-Ann, cherished grandfather of Dylan, Skyla, and Tycen. A loved brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend. A get together to farewell Charlie will be held in the Hokitika RSA, Sewell Street, Hokitika, on Wednesday December 20, at 1.00pm. Really sad to hear this news. Charlie was a big part of the st John health shuttle team for a long time. We enjoyed his company and his veried stories about his life his st John clients all missed him when he retired and often asked how he was doing.

Hokitika working men’s club Charlie dressed up like Santa for the children’s Christmas party ….Keith Griffiths announced ” here’s the man that comes down the chimney” ..my then 4 year old yelled ” um nope he’s the man the cleans them” ….never seen charlie laugh so much …great memories… condolences to Family
