Alvilda Breeze

On July 6, 2023, peacefully at home surrounded by her family, after a short illness.  Devoted wife of Ray, loved daughter of the late Alvilda and Allan Cron.  Loved sister and sister-in-law of Anne and the late Peter Quirk, Allan (Bill) Cron, Paul and Glenys Breeze and Ann and Dinny Pugh.  A very special aunty and second mum to Janna and Peter, Brayden, Daniella and Nathan.  A good friend of Vicki and adored mum of Sam the dog.  A special thank you to the Palliative Care Nurses, Hokitika District Nurses, Viv Simkin, Anne, Janna, Glenys and Ann.  Messages to the Breeze Family PO Box 277 Hokitika 7842 or may be left on Alvilda’s tribute page at www.thompsonfd.co.nz At Alvilda’s request, please wear bright colours.  Flowers respectfully declined but donations to St. John Ambulance would be appreciated and may be made at the service.

A service to celebrate Alvilda’s life will be held in the RSA Rooms, 22 Sewell Street, Hokitika on Monday July 10, commencing at 1.30pm.  Following the service Alvilda will be laid to rest in the Lawn Section of the Hokitika Cemetery.
