Passed away peacefully at Green Gables Rest Home, Nelson, on December 24, 2025, in her 75th year. Dearly loved wife and mate of Mike - a journey that lasted forty years, dearest mother of John, cherished sister of the late Len, Bill, and Doris, best aunty of Charmaine, a loved aunty and friend of many. ~ No more suffering ~ Messages can be sent to 337 Wanganui Flat Road, Hari Hari 7884, or left on Aileen’s tribute page at www.thompsonfd.co.nz. A service to celebrate Aileen’s life will be held in All Saints Anglican Church, 57 Bealey Street, Hokitika, on Monday January 5, at 2pm. Followed by burial in the Hokitika Cemetery.
