Died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on September 27, 2021. Much loved husband of Christine (Chris) and loved father of Grant, and Kirsty. Much loved ‘Tom’ of Nico and Lexie and father-in-law of Dino Ciminiello.
A special thanks to the Palliative Care Staff and the Hokitika District Nursing Team for their wonderful care.

It is a very sad occasion and i have gone through it my self with Howard our prayers are with you and hopefully when things are a little better we will chat Chris. Tom was a lovely man I remember the day when he called up to the farm in the old house looking for help to save the crib. At the stage Jim was there too and they all helped to put some rocks around with the tractor. Dear Chris and family, So sorry to read of Tom’s passing in the ODT on Saturday. I have such fond memories of working for “Dr Fiddes” in my role at the O&G Department so many years ago – lots of fun and happy memories.
