First met the lovely Susan (Snooze) about 25 years ago when I travelled to the beautiful west coast of NZ. What a laugh we had. We had many more laughs together when she travelled to the UK, including times together at Richard + Jill’s dairy farm on Jersey and when she came to stay when I lived in Edinburgh. Two of the best adventures I’ve ever had were with Snooze – we hired a gypsy horse + caravan and travelled round the Dingle Peninsula in Ireland. The other was when we hired a canal boat in the middle of England + did a bit of a tour round. Obviously there were funny stories from both trips! So many times I have smiled when I think of times I spent with Snooze… I always thought that someday I would get to catch up with her again in NZ… unbelievably sad that this won’t happen… Snooze was one of those unique human beings I feel lucky enough to have met + spent time with on this earth… Jason, Oscar and Lily – there aren’t words… totally heart breaking… All I feel I can do is send loads of love + strength from England xxx

Last time we seen each other we would of been 20 didn’t think it would of been the last RIP me old mate till we meet again. Xox
Thinking of all the family I remember good days and fun times on the farm in Weston.
Such sad news. She’s the reason we call New Zealand home, our friendly face and family here. She was the reason we got engaged at the church of the good shepherd (I think you both found out we were engaged before mum and dad!) and the best “big sister” we could have dreamed of growing up on the farm in Jersey. The spare room at home is still ‘Susan’s room’.
We will treasure the memories from seeing you all in January even more now.
Sending all our love to Jason, Oscar, and Lily. Xx
All my love to the family?
Lily was wearing an awesome t-shirt the other day that said ?STRONG LIKE A GIRL? and that’s just what Susan was.
Such sad sad news. Susan and I were friends at high school, Snooze was her nickname, i see she kept it. We got into some right mischief together. We were also in the rowing team together, we had some great laughs however we were always cursing when the coach made us run up Wansbeck street! Our lives went seperate ways after school, but we reconnected on Facebook and I have enjoyed seeing all her photos of her children Oscar and Lilly. Susan was so much fun to be around always smiling, My Mum always asked after Susan and was very sorry to hear this news. RIP Susan. Sincere condolences to Jason, Oscar, Lily and families.
