On October 9, 2021, at Dixon House, Greymouth, aged 92 years, formerly of Fox Glacier. Dearly loved wife of the late John, loved mother of Mary and Anthony Whitcombe, and Anne and Greg Fauth. Loved sister of the late Pat Punch, special Gran of John, Clara, Hazel, Leo, and Mikaere Whitcombe; Patrick, Lucy, and Julia Fauth. Rest In Peace. In lieu of flowers, donations to Dixon House would be appreciated and can be made directly or at the Mass. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Snows, Catholic Church, Fox Glacier, on Tuesday, October 12, commencing at 1pm. Following the Mass Molly will be laid to rest with John in the Fox Glacier Cemetery. A Rosary for Molly will be held at 125 Coulson Road, Paroa, Greymouth, on Monday evening at 7pm.

So sorry to read of Molly’s passing. She was my godmother. Such a lovely person. So pleased I got to know her. She was a stalwart of the community of Fox Glacier and also South Westland. Molly and John were the Rocks of Fox. Loved by and respected by the whole of Westland. Everyone’s friend , Molly’ was a go to and loved by every person she met. A piece of history has passed,
I remember back in the day after unloading Fertiliser with John & Pat, Molly always called me in the house for cuppa tea and scones. Great south West land people. R.I.P. MOLLY.
Such a sad time with the passing of a wonderful lady but she will now be at rest with John and Pat. I have nothing but lovely memories of Molly in my time in Fox Glacier. My condolences to all of Molly’s family.

Molly was a great lady the back bone of a great family
