Passed away peacefully surrounded by family in Te Nikau Grey Hospital on June 17, 2021, aged 72 years. Dearly loved wife of Joe, loved mum and mother-in-law of Kathy, Debbie and Neil, and the late John. Loved nana of Jack and Shanna, Alya, Kylie, and a loved sister, cousin, aunty, and friend of many. To all Members of Marty family. I was sad to learn to day of the passing of Marty. I knew she had been unwell for some time a, real suffer. I worked with Marty over the years. She was a true hard worker and a pleasure to be with. Her heart was broken when she lost her son John and now she is at peace with him. Please accept my sympathy in the loss of Marty. Marg began her life as an Aussie. But Marty fell in love with a Kiwi and the land he lived in and quickly became a West Coaster.
She loved the village life, the garden club, the chats in the street.
She had a wonderful life there, but she has finally given in to her recent health problems and is now at peace.
