Dearly loved wife of the late Allen, much loved mother of Fergus, Claire, Adele and Robyne and friend of Gerard, Neil, Susan, Letty and Christine. Beloved grandmother of Kerin, Rebecca, Esther, Liam, Sam, Elinor and Isla, partners Tom, Dennis and Alex and a great-grandmother of Amelie and Etienne. A loving aunt of all her nieces and nephews, sister of her late brother, sisters and in-laws and a good friend to many. Messages to 142 Cement Lead Road, RD 2, Hokitika 7882. Friends are invited to bring a single flower to place on Maidas casket at the conclusion of the service. A service to celebrate Maidas life will be held at St. Andrews United Church, Fitzherbert Street, Hokitika on Friday April 8 commencing at 11:00am. Private cremation to follow.

I was just thinking fondly of your Mum strangely enough on Monday……I was very fond of her and admired what she did in her life not only for Hokitika but for the women of Hokitka. She was an inspiration and I enjoyed my visits with her. She is fondly in my heart.
