Passed away peacefully on 11th February 2019 at Allen Bryant Lifecare, Hokitika, surrounded by family, aged 75 years. Dearly loved wife of Rick for 45 years. Loved daughter of the late Bob and Eva Muir, loved sister and sister in-law of Maureen and the late Ron Philpot (Belfast), Tom & Alison Muir (Hokitika), Eileen and the late Dick Steele (Picton), loved sister in-law of Robert (deceased), Bruce & Margaret (Alford Forest), Doug & Chris McQueen (Rangiora), and the late Harvey McQueen, and a much loved aunty to all her nieces and nephews. Special thanks to all the doctors and nurses of Morice Ward for your care and dedication, the excellent care from each and every staff member of Allen Bryant, and the wonderful care and support from the Hokitika District Nurses, and Sandra Hartwig.
A Requiem Mass for Jeanette will be celebrated in the Chapel of the Holy Spirit, Seaview Hokitika on Friday February 15 at 1:00pm, followed by burial in the Hokitika Cemetery.

Very sad to learn of Jeanette,s passing. She nursed me many years ago in Mandle Ward Westland Hospital. Jeanette was very kind to me and I have never for got her. She was a wonderfull nurse. Jeanette will be sadly missed. RIP
