Died peacefully with family at his side, at Allen Bryant Hospital, Hokitika on Saturday 14th May 2016.
Aged 87 years. Son of the late Harry and Olive Fearn of Wellington. Much loved father and father in law of Kath and Terry Farrell (Hokitika), Anne and David France (Christchurch), and Gerard and Robin Fearn (Nelson). Grandad of Liam and Eamon Farrell, Katherine and Madeleine France, Melanie, Nicole, Natasha and Bailey Fearn. Great Grandad of Mia Fearn, Adam and Terry Farrell, Riley and Ethan Kelling. Former husband of the late Heather (nee Shannon). Brother of the late Graham and Neville and uncle to Pam and Valerie.

Heartfelt thanks to the wonderful care of Ivan by the staff at Allen Bryant Hospital and Granger House.
A service in celebration of Ivans life will held at the Chapel of the Holy Spirit, Seaview Terrace, Hokitika, on Thursday 19th May commencing at 2.00pm.
Following the service, Ivan will be laid to rest with his mother Olive in the Lawn Section of the Hokitika
Cemetery.
Ivan invites you to his shout and cup-of-tea at the Chartered Club Hokitika after his burial at Hokitika Cemetery. May God Bless his peaceful journey and freeness from struggle.
Kath my thoughts are with you at this heart breaking time. You were the best daughter, always by your Dads side. Ivan’s passing is a big loss to Hokitika. I will always remember him with his cherry smile and wave. Memories will be your comfort. Thinkinh of you with love. Roni Wright
