Thinking of the great times I had with Cliffy, riding our horses, helping down at the river bed. I’m sure us kids were more of a hindrance than a help. Love and thoughts are with you.
To Gale, Catherine, Rose and families, my deepest sympathy to you all. Cliffy was such a great guy, I have wonderful memories of my time tractor driving and fencing with Cliffy and you Gale, back in the 80’s. I learnt a lot from Cliffy about enjoying work and having fun while getting things done. I think of those times and of Cliffy and you often.
Love to you all from the Cagney’s
Cliff was a lovely man who always made me feel so welcome into the valley. Always had a smile and kind word for us all and was a great friend to our Monk family.
Our love and hugs to you all xox
Sorry to hear the passing of Cliffy. Him and Dad had many a good yarn over the fence and the whiskey bottle. RIP Cliffy??
Vale Cliffy Harris – the end of an error for the Harris family line. My condolences to Gale, Rosemary & Catherine.
I remember numerous stories of Cliffy teasing the children – taking away their names “Jenny fer fer he used to say to my sister Jennifer Harris” and all the accidents he had although grinding in the shed when one of the sparks ignited a box of detonators was among the memorable “nine lives stories”. He wasn’t a bad story teller himself and had a wicked sense of humor. While he was a character he was a gentleman and very much admired – he will be sadly missed.
Sending our love and sympathy to all the family. We have special memories of a wonderful neighbour and friend
Will be sadly missed. A very special man. Never forgotten, Marilyn and Brian.

Cliffy was a great storyteller and welcomed people into the valley. He was kind , friendly and funny. He lived a good life on the farm and loved farming life…
When I came back from to NZ after living in Canada he was very curious about visiting there.
He would come up to me in the pub and ask questions about Canada…so many questions…
I lent him a few books as that was going to be his next place of travel…
