Thinking of Fiona’s family at this terribly sad time. She was such a lovely lady and always had a smile for everyone.
Profound shock at this sad news. As has been stated, Fiona had a smile and open heart for all she came in contact with. As a professional in her field and as a mother & partner to her family she will be greatly missed.
.
My deepest condolences to your family. I’ve known Fiona when we were in primary school in Port Chalmers, Otago. She lived on a sheep farm and I lived in the town. We would spend weekends on her farm, walking down to the shore and riding her horse, Melrose. Fiona and her mum welcomed me into their home to finish my school year when my family moved into the city. We finally connected on FB many years ago. My memories of Fiona is still so vivid as I think of her in our youth during the 1970s. We both loved horses and the Bay City Rollers. She was such a loving person.
RIP Fiona.

Remember me.
To the living,i am gone To the sorrowful, I will never return To the angry I was cheated But to the happy I’m at peace And to the faithful Inever left I can not speak but I can listen I cannot be seen but I can be heard so as you stand upon a shore gazing at a beautiful sea as you look upon a flower and admire its simplicity Remember me Remember me in your heart your thoughts and your memories of the times we loved the times we cried the times we fought the times we laughed for if you always think of me I will never have gone
