Our sincere sympathy to all the Pfahlert family.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time.
Perry can recall a visit from Jane and Denis to Woodlands, Colyton, in the mid-1960’s.
A great ray of sunshine has disappeared. I enjoyed our Cass Square meetings most mornings. Denis- always with a smile and something pleasant to communicate. One morning he burst into song for me (I can still hear him singing)….
In Dublin’s fair city,
Where the girls are so pretty,
I first set my eyes on sweet Molly Malone,
As she wheeled her wheel-barrow,
Through streets broad and narrow,
Crying, “Cockles and mussels, alive, alive, oh!”
“Alive, alive, oh,
Alive, alive, oh,”
Crying “Cockles and mussels, alive, alive, oh”.
Condolences to you all. He lived a good life. I will miss him a lot. Big hugs. Linda.
Our deepest sympathy to the Pfahlert family.
True West Coaster who will be greatly missed.
Thoughts and prayers are with you all

Sympathy to the Pfahlert family for the loss of Denis. Iv got fond memories of Denis while he was driving the Bread van delivering bread around Kowhitirangi. He used to tell us kids not to pick the guts out of the bread but we still did. RIP Denis
