A special funeral service to celebrate a wonderful woman and her life, will be held at Saint Andrews United Church, Fitzherbert Street, Hokitika, Saturday,June 15, commencing at 1:30pm. Lovely memories of my childhood haircuts from Aunty Sylvia, and many visits to her Bealey Street home. Mum (Noyle) is so upset to realise she won’t get to chat again to cousin Sylvia. Last memory of seeing Aunty Sylvia was when I took Mum to see her, they went over old photographs and stories together of their childhood times together.

Such sad news. Hokitika has lost a lovely lady who for decades always took the time to find out how things were going with you. Always sweet, kind and sincere. Always interested in art, too, and avidly kept up her practice with the Hokitika Art Group. Condolences to her family and gratitude for how she brightened our community in her own special way.
