Patricia Mary (Trish) Proudfoot (nee Teen)

Died peacefully on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at Burwood Hospital, surrounded by family, after suffering from dementia over the last three years. Dearly loved wife and friend of Alan for 58 years and just shy of her 80th birthday. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Simon and Gaye, Janine and Geoff (deceased) and Steve, Nick and Lisa, and Louise. Special Nana of Jeremy, Chelsea, Ollie, Georgia, Maddi, Joel, George, and Amber, great-grandmother of Spencer, and Scarlett. Oldest sister and sister-in-law of Paul and Jane, Tim (deceased) and Sue, Peter (deceased), Kate and Leo, Joanne and John. Sister-in-law of Ken and Mieke. Dearly loved aunt of all her nieces and nephews, a special cousin and friend of many. We wish to sincerely thank the teams that cared for her over the last seventeen months, first at Ryman’s Anthony Wilding Special Care Unit, then Christchurch City and Burwood Hospitals, your patience, understanding and respectful care of Trish has helped our families immensely. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at All Saints Anglican Church, 57 Bealey Street, Hokitika, on Saturday, December 28, at 1:30pm, followed by internment in the Hokitika Cemetery.
