Passed away too young at Auckland CVICU, on Thursday August 10, 2023, aged 42 years. Loving and adored mother of Jack (6yrs), very much-loved daughter of Paul and Lynley; sister of Matt; and sister-in-law of Ann-Maree.

A service to celebrate Mel’s life will be held at All Saints Anglican Church, Stafford Street, Hokitika, on Tuesday, 15 August, commencing at 1.30pm.

My heart goes out to you all. Mel had such positivity, caring and kindness and always greeted everyone with a smile. She loved to help others. All of these traits I see in Mel’s family.. An absolutely devoted mother and all-round beautiful person, gone too soon.
