Heartfelt, sympathy and condolences, in this tough time, Elsa and the wider MacRae family will miss Mac dearly. Malcolm, was a very special individual. Full of crazy ideas, many he enacted. Thoughtfull, opinionated, kind, strong of mind and body for most of his life. I (little Murray) will never forget the kindness extended by Elsa and Malcolm, to me from my earlest years to the most recent of times.

Deepest sympathy to all the MacRae family. Mac was a real gentleman; a kindly soul always helpful and supportive of the Whataroa community and school. Many fond memories of Leaver’s Dinners at the Mt. Adams Lodge with Mac presiding. He always had positive, inspiring words for the young people leaving Whataroa School and a happy smile for everyone. Always present at school productions supporting his grandchildren and all the students. A wonderful man who will be missed by all. Go in peace, you were respected and loved by all.
