I remember Mary as far back as when she was the post mistress in the Whataroa Post Office. She was always so well presented and pleasant. Then when she moved to Hokitika she was in the Griffin and smith and she like allways run a great shop. I loved seeing all that she had for sale there. Mary always made time talk to you when you meet up with her in town. Please accept my sympathy for the passing of Mary

Our sympathies go out to you all from Carol, Tom and Gavin Hinton of Reefton.

Funnily enough, we were looking at family photos last weekend and found one of all the Pupich cousins including you, Stan. My brother John visited Mary in Hokitika often and Mum (Freda) took me a couple of times as well. Mary was always lovely to visit. So kind and welcoming.
