Edwin Robert (Eddy) Kearns

Passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 4, 2024, after a brief illness, surrounded by family, in his 86th year. Loved husband of the late Betty, loved father & father in-law of Glenn and Merryn, Terry and Linda, Andy and Donna, and Ray and Debby, loved Grandad and Great Grandad, loved brother of Valerie, Pauline, and Lyn, loved brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend. At Eddy’s request a private family burial has been held in the Mokihinui Cemetery.

    So sorry to hear the sad news of Eddy’s passing. Eddy was a life long life friend having started school together and have many wonderful memories of him and his family. Our sincere condolences to all the family.

    RIP Eddie, I was his neighbour for 4yrs he love and appreciated any thing I did especially my pickles. A very interesting person to listen to so pleased he is now with his Betty will miss him calling in xJennie
