At Rest now with John. A loved Auntie who took her Niece and Nephews to Disneyland to show them the world in 1980. Carolyn loved her travel and certainly this love of new experiences was transferred to me. The Xmas and New Year annual celebrations in Woodstock were a highlight of our upbringing (for the O’Neils), Carolyn was front and centre of these family events, great memories of life on the Coast. RIP Auntie.
Carolyn and John were our neighbours at Woodstock, lovely people.
I worked with Carolyn at Westpower for ten years, was a truely dedicated lady. She so loved organising and taking some of her nieces and nephew’s overseas and would tell us all about it when she came back. I’m sure she was shocked at our sometimes celebration of life but always had a wee giggle to herself. Rest in peace Carolyn. Condolences to her family xxx
Sincere sympathy to Peter Donna and families. RIP Carolyn.
She Walks in Beauty
By Lord Byron
She walks in beauty, like the night
Of cloudless climes and starry skies;
And all that’s best of dark and bright
Meet in her aspect and her eyes;
Thus mellowed to that tender light
Which heaven to gaudy day denies.
One shade the more, one ray the less,
Had half impaired the nameless grace
Which waves in every raven tress,
Or softly lightens o’er her face;
Where thoughts serenely sweet express,
How pure, how dear their dwelling-place.
And on that cheek, and o’er that brow,
So soft, so calm, yet eloquent,
The smiles that win, the tints that glow,
But tell of days in goodness spent,
A mind at peace with all below,
A heart whose love is innocent!
Dear Carolyn,
Thank you for your friendship, and our many conversations you shared about your life, when once the beach nearly swallowed you up, the many overseas adventures you embarked on, wishing you had gone on a cruise ship holiday, and foremost your love of family and friends.
Rest peacefully my dear friend, until we meet again.
Love and warmest regards,
Kevin.
Deepest sympathy to the Anderson family and friends. Fond memories..
