Sorry to hear of the passing of Bruce, a true Gentleman and a keen rugby player who I had the odd discussion with in my Refereeing days.Condolences to all his family. RIP.
Condolences to all the loved ones of Bruce. Many memories of playing against Bruce in club rugby and playing with him for West Coast. Always a good guy to be with. Remember his debut for Coast against East Coast in 1976, he scored a try that day and put me in for a couple as well. Great skills, not a big bloke in stature but certainly huge in all his other attributes. He will be sadly missed
Bruce was one of life’s good blokes; always cheerful and keen to have a yarn. He was a regular at the Enliven group Linda runs each Thursday at our place at the Serpentine, Kūmara Junction. Everyone in the group really loved having Bruce share his stories, and those who could, would accompany him on a walk to the beach or around the bush track. We really missed him when he had to go into care in Christchurch and will always remember him as a wonderful person. Thinking of you Julie-Anne and Neve as you grieve through your loss.

He was always ready with a dry joke, and to have Suz and me on – just like a big brother would. His illness was so unfair, and It’s been a long road for you all. But I know Juicy will be with him now, sharing a beer and talking about old times. Go well Bruce. X
