Passed away on June 15, 2021, after a short battle with Leukaemia in his 86th year.  Adored and devoted husband of the late Alice.  Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Sandra and Neil Frazer, Peter and Hayley, Lisa and Blue Clark.  Treasured and adored grandfather of Hayden and Davida, Kylee, Nicole, Caitlin, Tatiana and Sam, Billie and So’o, Jordan, and Georgia.  Proud great-grandfather of his 9 ½ great-grandchildren.  Loved brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend.  Special friend of Maggie, Jenny, and Ann.   Special thanks to the staff of Nurse Maude Hospital, Merivale for their wonderful care.

In Wallace’s memory, donations to St. John, Hari Hari Station would be appreciated and can be made at the service.

A Service to celebrate Wallace’s life will be held in the Hari Hari Community Hall, Main Road Hari Hari, on Saturday, June 19, commencing at 1 pm, followed by private cremation. 

Members of the New Zealand Fire Service and FENZ, both serving and retired, are requested to attend the funeral of Gold Star Member, Retired Deputy Chief Fire Officer Wallace Wells, Hari Hari Volunteer Fire Brigade.  The service will be held at Community Hall, Hari Hari, on Saturday, June 19, commencing at 1 pm.  Private cremation to follow.
