With broken hearts we sadly announce the passing of our beautiful wife, mum, sister, mother-in-law, nana, great nana, aunty and friend of many, who passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. Ngaire will be especially missed by many of her South Westland friends.

Ngaire was a much loved wife, soul mate and best friend for 58 years of Thomas. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Wendy and Daniel Glancy, Barry and Nola Rochford, and Leanne and Barry Foster. Nana of Riana and Jeremy Bennett and Makayla Glancy; Nicholas and Benjamin Rochford; Cushla and David Thorn; Zoe and George; Sinead and Markjohn, and Jackson Foster; Great-nana of Ryan and Maia Bennett; Brad, Alexa, Charlie and beautiful baby Maisy Thorn who bought her much joy over the last few months.

Ngaire is a loved sister and sister-in-law of Dorothy and Tom Hibbs; Tommy and Val Scammell and Colleen and Jim Rhodes.

“Your suffering is over, now at peace. You will be sadly missed”.

Ngaire is resting at her home Flat 50, 123 Tudor Street, Hokitika.

Flowers respectably declined, but donations to the Cancer Society welcome and can be left at the service.

A Service to Celebrate Ngaire’s life will be held in the All Saints Church, Bealey Street, Hokitika, on Thursday March 28, commencing at 2pm. Following the service Ngaire will be laid to rest in the Hokitika Cemetery.
