BUCHANAN Keith Thomas (Fatty). 23/12/1958 – 30/1/2017. Peacefully at his home in Haast, surrounded by his family. Dearly loved husband of Jennie. Loved father of Dayna and Nicole. Loved son of Ted and the late Collette and son-in-law of the late Allan and Jean. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Michael and Kay Buchanan, the late Kay Buchanan, the late Jocelyn Buchanan, Jenny and Leslie, Sheryl and Robert, Janis and Barry, Debbie and Mike, Guy and Lesley. A service to celebrate Keith’s life will be held at the Okuru Hall on Friday 3rd February, commencing at 2:30pm, burial to follow at the Okuru Cemetery.
Genuine friends only come around once, sometimes they come to us later in life – they are the ones that are steafastly loyal, support you no matter what and will give you the shirt off your back. Keith was, and still is for us, one of those rare gems that we were able to call a friend. See you down at the hut, Don’t shoot the easy ones!
