Attended his final callout on January 17, 2022, aged 61.
Beloved husband, soulmate and best friend of Cate.
Much loved and treasured dad and father-in-law of Hayden & Lauren, Emma & Sam, and Hannah & Jasyn.
Adored Grandy of Michael, Maia, Jack; Sophie, Kaysha, Aviana; Saasha, and Rome.  Much loved and special brother of Chris & Julie (Wellington). Best mate of Zeb, and a loved brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend of many.

In Ross’ memory, donations to the Westcoast Roa Rescue Helicopter Trust, would be appreciated and can be made at the service.
The service will be live streamed, and the link can be found on Ross’ tribute page. 
A Service to celebrate Ross’ life will be held in the Ross Community Hall, Ross on Saturday, January 22, commencing at 11 am, followed by cremation.
Ross will be at home for visitation from Thursday.


Vaccine passes will be required to attend this service.

New Zealand Fire and Emergency Service Members of the New Zealand Fire and Emergency Service, both serving and retired, are requested to attend the funeral of Gold Star Member, Retired DCFO Ross Hurley, Ross Volunteer Fire Brigade, 1977 – 2007. The service will be held at Ross Community Hall, Ross, on Saturday, January 22nd, commencing at 11.00am.  Private cremation to follow. 
Serving members, full undress uniform with caps please.

    To Cate and family, my sincere condolences to you all, have fond memories growing up in Waitaha Valley and spending many times playing with Ross, Dad and Barry were good pals so spent some time with Ross in my early life, gone far to soon, was good to catch up with Ross at a local Xmas function just before Xmas and reminisce on old times as it turned out, was always good to catch him for a yarn, I will miss those times.
