It is with such sadness that Mal passed away in Hokitika after a short battle.
Dearly loved son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and mate.
Thank you to everyone who has been involved in Mal’s medical care.  You have all been wonderful and caring.
Thank you to Mal’s cousins and mates near and far that have visited, phoned, or messaged, he is so lucky to have had you all in his life.
Well Bro, the battle is over. Rest In Peace. We love and miss you.

Condolences to Malcolm’s family. We were good mates from Kirkwood til the mid 70’s when we drifted apart for some reason. Great memories of fishing off the Akaroa wharf etc etc & the Arthur St days. We did some dumb things!! RIP Malcolm

So sorry to hear of Malcolm’s passing. Shared a flat with Mal in the mid 70’s. A great friend and I have many memories of the fun we had together.
