    This is very sad news.
I worked with Joan at Allen Bryant Lifecare many years ago.
She was one of the best bosses I had the pleasure of working with,
A very kind and caring nurse.
My deepest sympathy to all of Joan’s family.Love Hellen Morris xxx

Sending sympathy wishes to family and friends. I met Joan only a few years ago at Allen Bryant. I have had the priviledge of caring for Joan a few times during her hospital visits and I was also able to transport her in the ambulance from Christchurch recently. So glad her daughter was here.

Joan was my tutor in Prelim when I started nursing 56 years ago. She was always interested in following our nursing progress over the years. She was very dedicated to nursing and provided great nursing to the community of Hokitika. RIP Joan.
