Very saddened to hear of Brian’s passing. Brian was my boss at Seaview hospital. He was a great boss, and lovely man whom I respected very much. I am so pleased that I got to visit Brian when back in Hokitika a few months ago. A great catch up and stories we shared of Seaview. RIP Brian..

    RIP Brian.
I worked with him in my first job ever. He was kind and patient explaining everything and answering my endless teenage questions. He would always stop for a chat and a catch up when I saw him in town. Lovely guy.
    Condolences to his family..

Both Brian and Maureen have been great family friends and were near neighbours for so many years while growing up. They probably could have rung my neck multiple times for stirring up Pete and Donna. Always friendly, kind and happy to have a chat. It is sad to know of Brian’s death, he was a great guy and will be sadly missed by his family and many friends.

Brian’s family is in our thoughts and prayers at this sad time.
Brian was a great friend to Dad Jim. He and Dad shared a love of the horses and many a conversation included the one that got pipped at the post. – I trust they both made more from the TAB, than the TAB made from them!
Brian was a man big in stature and character, and my big cousin. We will miss you man – RIP.
